42 years after first going to Art School, I am about to embark on a 2nd foundation course. I am now 60 instead of 18,and hopefully have a little more wisdom than I had then. I am hoping to find my creative energy again.

- I have a chronic pain condition called Fibromyalgia which meant early retirement, and a move to the Outer Hebrides. I enjoy reading the sort of long and detailed books that I did not have time for whilst working fulltime. I have managed to give up 2 longterm addictions since moving here; I no longer obsessively watch tv soap operas, or buy loads of women's magazines. Now I just need to stop eating too much chocolate.
